Day 2: Arusha – Full day game drive in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, with packed lunch boxes, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area.
There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephant.
After your game drive, you will drive out of the park to the famous town of Karatu for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge all meals included
Day 3: Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park
Tree Climbing Lions & Pink Flamingoes
After breakfast from your hotel, you will depart for Lake Manyara. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others.
Eventually you will arrive and stay overnight at beautiful Lake Manyara, which Ernest Hemingway once called the “The loveliest lake in Africa.”
The national park is home to the unique tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, which you’ll have the chance to see lounging in the high tree branches.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast from your lodge, you will transit Ngorongoro conservation Area and get a stop for few minutes at the crater view point.
After your brief stop at the crater view point, you will drive further to Serengeti National Park (driving time for 2 hours, but with plenty to see on the way!). En route you will see grazing zebras, antelopes and giraffes and sometimes some buffalos hiding in the bush.
The South Serengeti ecosystem belongs partly to the Serengeti National park and partly to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ndutu Area). You will start your day 1 game drive into Serengeti National Park.
You will be able to game drive the central Serengeti en route to your camp.
Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species.

The Migration, consisting of around 2 million animals, is on the move all year round. Depending on the season you may see this impressive phenomenon.
Naturally it also attracts a mass of predators and you may be able to see a band of lionesses gather for a hunt.
After your full day game drive in Serengeti National Park, you will return to your camp for your 2nd overnight at Tanzania Bush Camps in central Serengeti. All meals included
Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater – Natural Wonders
After breakfast from Serengeti, with packed lunch boxes, you will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a wonderful game drive and picnic lunch. The inside of the crater is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the highest wild animal densities worldwide. Among the species are lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. You might expect to see the ‘Big Five’ in one day! You’ll then stay overnight at a lodge outside the crater.
Standard Accommodation at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge meals on full board basis
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Eyasi
From Ngorongoro you proceed to Lake Eyasi home to the hunter-gathers ethnic group of the Hadzabe Bushmen bearing similar characteristics to those of Bushmen at Southern Africa. The small people of this indigenous tribe are probably the last living in true harmony with nature and have a wealth of Fauna and Flora knowledge to share with us.
Around Lake Eyasi you will also visit the remotely living Datoga Tribe famous for their colourful leather dresses. The day is filled with visits and cultural encounters around Lake Eyasi.
Alternatively, you can visit the Hadzabe Bushmen and go with them for hunting or gathering to the bush. If you wish you can watch their daily live activities when they come back from the bush with some meat and their dances
Driving time from Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi without game viewing approx. 2 – 2,5 hours
After having done with your tour visits and seen the activities at Lake Eyasi, you will drive down to the famous town of Karatu for dinner and overnight accommodation at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, all meals included
Day 8: Karatu town – Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Depending on your international flight departure timing, after early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will depart to Arusha, arriving around noon time at Shanga Shangaa and you will also take a brief tour at Shanga Shangaa.
(Shanga Shangaa is a place for disabled people where they make glasses, flower vase and other ornaments out of recycled bottles – it is actually it is a glass blowing or ballooning job after heating the recycled bottle under very high gas heat).
